From RSVP
to front row

Selling the ticket is half the job — the other half is making sure they show up. Registrations flow in via API, reminders fire on exact dates, and day-of logistics land on WhatsApp, where people actually look mid-event.

The play

How it works in BIP

  1. Registrations flow in tagged

Each registration hits the leads API with a tag for the ticket type — "workshop", "vip", "online". Buying a second ticket updates the same profile; the confirmation can fire from the same call.

  2. Stack the reminders on the calendar

Schedule absolute-date campaigns up front: one week before with the agenda, one day before with directions, day-of at 7 am with the door code. Each fires once, at its exact moment.

  3. Day-of updates where they look

Room change? Session delayed? A WhatsApp to the "checked-in" segment reaches attendees right away. After the event, the follow-up goes to attendees — and a different one to no-shows.

In practice

Two thousand people, zero megaphones

A 2,000-person conference runs its whole comms from a handful of scheduled campaigns and one segment per ticket tag. At 7 am on event day, the WhatsApp goes out: "Doors at 8, hall B, badge QR attached." When the keynote moves 20 minutes, a second send catches everyone before they line up. Monday after: attendees get the recording link, no-shows get "here’s what you missed" with next year’s early price.

Questions about this play

Can’t find the answer you’re looking for? Talk to our team — a human replies.

How do I message ticket types differently?

Tag them at registration — "vip", "online", "workshop" — and build one segment per tag. Same event, different messages, each audience hearing only what applies.

Can I schedule all reminders in advance?

Use absolute-date campaigns: each one fires once at the exact date and time you set, with timezone control. Stack as many as your event needs.

Why WhatsApp for day-of updates?

WhatsApp is the strongest channel mid-event — templates are pre-approved by Meta, so a room change reaches pockets right away while email waits unread.
