Ask before they’re gone.
Act before it’s public.

Customers tell you everything — if you ask at the right moment and actually route the answer somewhere. Ask after the experience, tag by response, and get detractors to a human while it still matters.

The play

How it works in BIP

  1. Ask right after the experience

Trigger the survey from the moment that matters: delivery confirmed, support ticket closed, third month completed. The API call carries the context — what to ask about and when.

  2. Score the answer, not just the send

The email carries your question and scored links — each score is a tracked link, so a click is logged as an event you can segment on: "promoter", "neutral", "detractor". No form builder, no third-party survey tool.

  3. Route each answer to the right next step

A recurring webhooks-only campaign on the "detractor" segment pings your support Slack each cycle — a human reaches out within the hour. Promoters? They get the review-us ask, because they were about to say something nice anyway.

In practice

One question, two very different follow-ups

A subscription box asks one question three days after each delivery: "How was this month’s box, Ana?" — with five scored links. Each click is logged per lead. A webhooks-only campaign on the detractor segment pings the support channel, and they get a personal reply the same afternoon; promoters get the referral invite a day later. The public reviews page fills with people who were nudged at their happiest moment.

Questions about this play

Can’t find the answer you’re looking for? Talk to our team — a human replies.

How does BIP capture the score?

Click tracking does the scoring: each answer is a link, and event criteria segment leads by which one they clicked. Add a tag via the API to make the result permanent on the profile.

How do detractors reach my team?

Campaigns on the email channel can fire only webhooks — no message to the lead. Run a recurring one on the detractor segment to alert support fast.

When should the ask go out?

Timing is everything: trigger via the API right after the experience — delivery, ticket closed, milestone reached — instead of a random Tuesday blast.
